How to make a 35×45mm My Number Card ID photo with Machi Photos

You can create a My Number Card application photo with the 35×45mm preset in Machi Photos. Creating the photo, changing the background, retouching, exporting the L-size sheet, and issuing a reservation QR code are free. If you print it, you only pay the L-size photo print fee at the convenience-store copier.

1. Choose the My Number Card size

Search for My Number Card or open the identity document category. Machi Photos applies the 35×45mm preset and prepares a layout with up to 4 photos on one L-size print.

2. Upload the photo and align the face

Upload a front-facing portrait, then use the 35mm and 45mm guides to adjust the headroom, face center, and shoulders. Change the background to clean white and check that brightness and skin tone still look natural.

Before exporting, make sure the eyes are clear, the face is not covered by hair or glasses glare, and the background has no shadows or objects.

3. Export the 4-photo L-size sheet

After confirming the crop, export the L-size photo print sheet. The My Number Card preset is arranged as 35×45mm / 4 photos, ready to cut after printing.

4. Print at a convenience store

For supported stores, issue a reservation number or QR code, then print it as an L-size photo on the multifunction copier. Confirm the price and number of prints on the machine before printing.
