Terms of Service
These conditions help you safely use ID photo creation, photo editing, convenience-store print reservations, and LINE integration.
1Application
These Terms govern use of the ID photo, photo print, sticker print, editing, print reservation, LINE integration, and related services provided by Machi Photos. By using the service, users agree to these Terms.
2Service
The service lets users upload photos, adjust size and background, create layouts, preview print data, and issue reservation numbers or confirmation details. Printing is carried out under the equipment, network, paper, and pricing rules of supported convenience stores and other providers.
3Environment and accounts
Users are responsible for preparing and paying for the devices, connection, browser, LINE app, and other environment needed to use the service. Sign-in details, email addresses, authentication data, and print-reservation numbers must be managed carefully to prevent unauthorized use.
4Photo and image data
Users must hold the rights or permissions needed for uploaded images. We handle uploads only as needed to provide editing, reservations, history, support, abuse prevention, and incident investigation. Color, brightness, margins, and printed appearance may vary by device, display, printer, paper, and store conditions.
5Fees and payment
Printing prices, paper, supported stores, and payment methods vary by store, printer, and external provider. Users must check the print content, fee, paper type, and quantity before paying. Conditions for separately offered paid features appear on the purchase or information screen.
6Prohibited conduct
Users must not violate laws or public order, infringe third-party rights, impersonate others, gain unauthorized access, impose excessive load, analyze, modify, or disrupt the service, submit false information, or engage in conduct we deem inappropriate. We may restrict use, invalidate reservations, delete data, or take other necessary measures.
7Changes and suspension
We may change, suspend, or interrupt all or part of the service without advance notice for maintenance, incidents, external-service changes, legal compliance, security, or operational reasons. We cannot guarantee prevention of outages or delays caused by printers, stores, networks, payments, cloud storage, authentication, LINE, or other external environments.
8Disclaimer
We do not guarantee complete fitness for a user's purpose, photo results, print results, store availability, perfect data retention, or uninterrupted service. Except in cases of intent or gross negligence, we are not liable for damage arising from use or inability to use the service.
9Personal information
Personal information and photo data are handled according to our separate Privacy Policy.
10Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms for service, legal, or operational reasons. Updated Terms apply once posted on this page.
11Governing law
These Terms are governed by Japanese law. If a dispute arises, the user and the service will discuss it in good faith and resolve it appropriately under applicable law.
